On March 27, the Presidents' Meeting of the Public Building Decoration Branch of the China Building Decoration Association (CBDA) was held in Suzhou. Gold Mantis organized the meeting as the Branch's Chair unit. Yao Zhicheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of CBDA, and other leaders attended the meeting.

As the rotating Chair, Mr. Wang Hanlin noted that the building decoration industry is at a critical stage of deep adjustment and transformation. Changes in the market environment, compounded by multiple development challenges, have brought unprecedented pressure to the industry. Under such circumstances, it is all the more necessary to establish efficient communication platforms, bring together core industry forces, jointly assess the situation, address development challenges, and chart a shared development blueprint to identify pathways for breakthrough and progress.

Mr. Wang emphasized that the value of the Branch lies in uniting industry forces, serving development, and guiding direction. At this challenging stage, the Branch must take on greater responsibility by building effective communication bridges and collaboration platforms, enabling chair and vice-chair member units to play a leading role, and driving the industry toward coordinated development. Participants were encouraged to actively contribute insights on the meeting agenda, confront key pain points, analyze root causes, and explore practical solutions, so that the meeting truly serves as a crucial opportunity for industry breakthroughs.

Secretary Yao Zhicheng stressed the need to strengthen Party leadership across the industry, guiding local associations and enterprises in advancing Party building. He noted that enterprises must uphold political principles in their operations. The industry has its rules, individuals their moral boundaries, and actions their proper limits—principles that apply to all aspects of business management. Chair member units, in particular, should promote best practices, advocate exemplary corporate values, and carry forward outstanding team culture, which is essential for the sustained growth of the decoration industry.

The Presidents' Meeting also issued an initiative calling on all members to act as steadfast practitioners of compliant operations, active drivers of transformation and upgrading, promoters of coordinated development, inheritors of the craftsmanship spirit, and guardians of the industry's image. Although brief, the meeting was efficient and results-oriented. Member enterprises expressed strong confidence that the current downturn will pass and reaffirmed their commitment to jointly advancing high-quality and sound industry development.
